AKHILESH MANDAL
Akhilesh is the Managing Director, Hofstede Insights India. He aligns Strategy, Culture and Leadership behaviour. He brings a unique blend of Business Leadership and People Insight to his clients by virtue of his over 2 decades of key leadership track in multiple organizations globally and in India, followed by over a decade of people and organization advisory role.
BRIGITTE OPEL
Brigitte has been a consultant for cross-cultural management since 2013. Born and raised in Germany, she quickly started exploring the world by learning foreign languages and immersing in other cultures. She has lived, studied and worked in Germany, Netherlands, Japan, USA, Australia and Russia and visited many more.
CARMEN LAM
Carmen Lam joined Hofstede Insights from the world of transnational marketing, branding and Asian hospitality in 2012. Having served in senior executive positions in multi-national as well as local companies in services, technology and tourism across Asia Pacific and North America such as Melco Crown Entertainment, MICROS-Fidelio, IHG, Shangri-La and the Destination Marketing Organisation for Hong Kong, she has hands-on experience managing across cultures and a deep understanding of the business and people issues that can happen when companies cross borders.
DAVID MORLEY
David provides specialist coaching for expats around the world to assist with their assimilation and ability to get on task in their new environment. David is experienced working with boards, international executive teams and employees at all levels of an organisation across many countries.
DIVYA SUSAN VARKEY
In the years following her entry into intercultural communications training, Divya has trained executives and students from more than 30 different countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Colombia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Morocco, Tanzania, China and India. Her work so far has also included training CXO’s and high-level managers from some of the biggest known global brands on expatriate assignments in India.
EGBERT SCHRAM
Egbert Schram is the Group CEO of Hofstede Insights. He is astute, passionate about his work, known to make complex things understandable by focusing on pragmatic solutions.
His specialty lies in using a data driven approach to culture, enabling executive level discussion and decision making.
JAIME ONG-YEOH
Jaime is a management consultant specialising in the areas of change management, organisation design & development, organisation culture, and organisation psychology. She has over 15 years of experience helping multinational corporations with large scale business transformation programmes, including the set-up, stabilization, and maturation of high-growth global/regional centralised functions and shared services.
JUNICHI HIROSAKI
Junichi is an experienced intercultural management consultant and coach who has over 25 years of international business and management experience in Japan, US, South East Asia and India at Microsoft, Accenture, Cisco, and Motorola. He is passionate about to solve intercultural management problem and accelerate diverse, inclusive and collaborative working environment.
NADIR KARANJIA
Nadir joined Hofstede Insights in 2004. He has worked in several fields such as Trading, Construction supplies, Exports, Agency and Representation, Product Distribution, International Business Development and Information Security Solutions.
NAVKARAN SINGH
Partly based in UK and India, Navkaran specialises in Intercultural Management of European and Indian markets for global IT and Technology companies. Having worked for more than 10 years in a leading Swedish Telecoms company as a Global Transformation Manager, he has first-hand experience of running projects and workshops across Europe and India. He has successfully delivered more than 30 multi country business transformation projects as PMP certified Global Transformation Manager.
OKEY OKERE
Okey Okere is an experienced consultant and knowledge resource. In addition to Organisational Culture, Intercultural Management, his other key competencies include Strategy, Business Analysis, Organisational Development, Finance, Credit/Risk Analysis and Programme Management.
PIA KÄHÄRÄ
Pia’s expertise lies in developing and managing sales and distribution channel cooperation of exporting companies, especially in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus. Having been in business with Russia for more than 20 years and consulted companies from various industries (from cosmetics and food to IT and machinery) in their go-to-market efforts and business development for 10 years, she has realized that the lack of cultural competence is often the deal-breaker.
SJAAK PAPPE
Sjaak Pappe MA BAA is one of the senior consultants of Hofstede Insights and joined the company in 1999 after being a client for ten years. During his international career he learned, that respecting and managing cultural diversity between nations, organisations and professions, gives organisations a competitive edge. He became so passionate about the results he saw, that he decided to make it his daily work

Yoko is the Senior Facilitator and Director of Hofstede-Insights Japan serving companies developing cultural awareness of their leaders. Her area of expertise includes Post Merger Integration, Expat Preparation and Diversity & Inclusion for both local and multi-national organizations.
